Edinburgh Airport is around 25 minutes outside the City Centre. There are regular bus links between the Airport and Waverley Bridge in the city centre. (Map showing Waverley Bridge) Waverley Bridge is 5 minutes walk from Anne House Apartments. This bus is the Airlink 100, and information on routes and timetables are available at www.flybus.com

Walking from Waverley Bridge:

Leave Waverley Bridge heading south away from Princes Street. Walk toward a mini roundabout at the junction of Waverley Bridge, Market Street, and Cockburn Street.
Cross over the roundabout and walk up Cockburn Street, this is very steep, and if you are tired, or have lots of luggage you may prefer to take a taxi!
At the top of Cockburn Street is the High Street (Royal Mile), cross over this cobbled street, and walk just a few yards uphill.
All three apartments are easily accessed by foot from the Royal Mile (High Street). There are three 'closes' (small lanes) which conveniently lead to Anne House (Royal Mile and Holyrood Apartments).

Bell's Wynd
» Anne House is on Bell's Wynd. The entrance to Bell's Wynd is located between two eateries on the Mile; The "Wee Windaes" restaurant and the "ClamShell" takeaway.

» The entrance to Anne House is a short walk down the close on the left. An image of the entrance to the building is available here.

Stevenlaw's Close
» The second access from the Royal Mile is Stevenlaw's Close. The entrance from the Royal Mile is between 'Garfunkels' Restaurant and 'Games Workshop' store. An image of this entrance is available here.

» Anne House is accessed by walking to the bottom of the close and turning right, and ascending the steps next to the front of Anne House.

Old Assembly Close
» The final access from the Royal Mile is through Old Assembly Close. This close is close to the Fringe Box Office (bright blue shop front), and the sign for the box office is above the close entrance.

» Walk down the close to the end, turn left to the upper part of Tron Square.

» Walk down Bell's Wynd until Anne House is on the left. Across from Anne House is some steps which lead up to the upper part of Tron Square.

» Cross the square diagonally left towards steps down to the lower part of Tron Square (between two buildings).

» At the bottom of the steps turn left and the stairs to the flat are in the corner of the square. (image)

Stevenlaw's Close

» Tron Apartment is accessed by walking to the bottom of the close, continuing down the cobbled street and turning right along another cobbled street.

» There is a small set of steps on the right of this street. Up these, the stairs to the flat are ahead, across Tron Square. (image)
